Key Qualifications:

Mr. Robinson has been involved in the transportation, civil site plan, water and wastewater industry since 1983, for the most part, in the survey of utility corridors utilizing the latest technology available. Our firm now utilizes Static GPS units to set permanent control monuments, Real Time Kinematic (RTK) GPS units to gather key topographic features and Aerial Photography to set images in the background of the plans to further help the Contractor and the Utility Owner to better understand the scope of the project. Mr. Robinson uses MicroStation, GeoPak and Topcon Surveying equipment to develop an accurate survey of the project.

 

Project Experience: - Civil Site Development

·         Professional Land Surveyor, Westwood Hills Subdivision, Paducah, Ky., 2007– 48 acres site in the heart of the West End in Paducah, 94 Residential lots, boulevard section roadway, water plans, sewer plans, roadway plans and erosion control plans. Client: Hayden Construction

·         Professional Land Surveyor, Olivet Village Subdivision, Paducah, Ky., 2006 – 25 acres of residential and commercial development on Olivet Church Road, West of Kentucky Oaks Mall, zoned Mixed Use, the development is a blend of Patio Homes and Condominiums with two commercial buildings in the entrance of the property. Client: Mike Falconite.

·         Professional Land Surveyor, Meadowland Subdivision, Reidland, Ky., 1998 – 40 acre site of upscale residential lots. Roadway plans, water line plans and sewer plans with a sanitary sewer lift station. Client: Jerry Vasseur.

·         Professional Land Surveyor, White Pines Subdivision, Reidland, Ky., 2002 – 35 acre residential subdivision south of Reidland, upscale residences. Roadway Plans, Sewer and Water Plans and KTC entrance permit. Client: D & D Construction.

·         Professional Land Surveyor, Coppersmith Cove, Eddyville, Ky., 2006 – 250 acre development on the waters of Eddy Creek Bay. The severity of the terrain made for challenging civil engineering and costly construction but beautiful lots. Roadway and water and sewer plans. Client: Scott Logan, Atlanta, Ga.

 

Project Experience: - Wastewater

·         Professional Land Surveyor, Sewer Expansion Project, U.S. 60 area, Paducah, Ky – New location of 8,600 feet of gravity sewer and force main. Procured 30 sanitary sewer easements from property owners, performed all deed research, calculated property lines and existing easements. Utilized GPS and conventional surveying methods to gather topography and stream profiles to set grades on the gravity sewer and locations of the force main. Client: JSA.

·         Professional Land Surveyor, Sewer Relocation, U.S. 60 and James Sanders Blvd., Paducah, Ky – Topographic survey of urban commercial area for the relocation of an existing problem gravity sewer. Our firm redesigned the sanitary sewer. Client: JSA.

·         Professional Land Surveyor, Sewer Relocation, Mayfield Grain, Mayfield, Ky – Topographic survey of an industrial area for the relocation of an existing gravity sewer. Our firm redesigned the sanitary sewer. Client: Mayfield Grain.

·         Professional Land Surveyor, Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation, Wickliffe, Ky. – Topographic survey for the rehabilitation of existing sewers, control monuments and levels. Client: City of Wickliffe.

·         Professional Land Surveyor, Sewer Expansion Project, U.S. 60 and County Park Road, Paducah, Ky – Topographic survey of a commercial area for the new location of sanitary gravity sewer that serves the Stuart Nelson Park road area to the 84 Lumber area. Our firm redesigned the sanitary sewer. Client: City of Paducah.

·         Professional Land Surveyor, Sewer Expansion Project, Low Pressure Grinder Pump Network, Metcalf Lane at U.S. 60, Paducah, Ky – Topographic survey of a new location of sanitary sewer that serves the Metcalf Lane area. Low pressure grinder pumps were required due to elevation challenges. The force main was placed by directional bore to alleviate damages to yards and trees. Client: City of Paducah.

 

Project Experience: - Water

·         Professional Land Surveyor, Water Line Project, U.S. 60 West, West Paducah, Ky – Six miles of topographic survey, aerial photography, property lines and rights of way for a water line expansion project. Our firm designed the water line. Client: West McCracken Water District.

·         Professional Land Surveyor, Water Line Project, McKendree Church Road, West Paducah, Ky –  Two miles of topographic survey, aerial photography, property lines and rights of way for a water line expansion project and a 125,000 gallon above ground storage tank. Our firm designed and bid the water line and storage tank and procured the easements required. Client: West McCracken Water District.

 

Project Experience: - Transportation

Land Surveyor/Highway Design, Tennessee Department of Transportation -Mr. Robinson was responsible for property surveys, deed research, vertical and horizontal control monuments, drainage surveys, topographic surveys, utility research and location for the following projects:

 

·         Project Year: 2007; Interstate 69 Obion County, 4.639 miles of Interstate Design, from        Troy to Union City, one grade separated interchange at SR 21

·         Project Year: 2008; Interstate 69 Tipton County, 4.85 miles of Interstate Design, from Munford to Brighton, one grade separated interchange at Atkins Store Road and a Truck Weigh Station. Scheduled to begin Summer of 2008.

·         Project Year: 2002; S.R. 459 Lexington Bypass, Henderson County Tennessee, 7.9 miles of new location, 4 lane partially controlled access with 5 grade separated interchanges.

·         Project Year: 2000; S.R. 20, Henderson County Tennessee, 3.7 miles of a widening project, 4 lanes of depressed median with at grade intersections.

·         Project Year: 1998; S.R. 5/186, U.S. 45 Bypass, Madison County, Jackson, Tennessee, 6 miles of interior lane widening from 4 lanes to 6 lanes, north of Jackson.

·         Project Year: 1995-2005; Bridge and Approach Projects in Hardeman, Fayette, McNairy, Weakley, Obion, Tipton, Madison, Lauderdale and Bedford Counties.
